The present study was designed to confirm the therapeutic potential of foxf1 sirna in models of acute and chronic ccl4-induced liver injury. Dbtc-foxf1 sirna was only sufficient to silence foxf1 in acute ccl4model and did not ameliorate liver injury or fibrogenesis.
